ORDINANCE
UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO Acct. No. 43697 - 70 Permit No. 1124737

Be It Ordained by the City Council ofthe City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, upon the terms and subject to the conditions ofthis ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, three (3) Tunnel(s) under the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 5620-40 S. Drexel Ave
Said Tunnel(s) at ALLEY E. OF DREXEL measure(s):
One (1) at sixteen (16) feet in length, and twenty-two (22) feet in width for a total of three hundred fifty-two (352) square feet. Existing tunnel is approximately twenty (20) feet in depth.
Said Tunnel(s) at S. DREXEL AVENUE measure(s):
One (1) at seventy-six (76) feet in length, and twenty-two (22) feet in width for a total of one thousand six hundred seventy-two (1672) square feet. Existing tunnel is approximately twenty (20) feet in depth.
Said Tunnel(s) at ALLEY W. OF DREXEL measure(s):
One (1) at sixteen (16) feet in length, and twenty-two (22) feet in width for a total of three hundred fifty-two (352) square feet. Existing tunnel is approximately twenty (20) feet in depth.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1124737 herein granted the sum of one thousand two hundred ($1,200.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
