MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR PATRICIA A. BORUN


WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Patricia A. Borun on March 8, 2017 at the age of 74; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and

WHEREAS, born on August 3, 1942, Patricia was the loving mother of David (Melanie); cherished grandmother of Maisy and a treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Patricia leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and

WHEREAS, Patricia touched the lives of all who knew her through her kindness, generosity and spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this twenty ninth day of March, 2017, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Patricia A. Borun; and
MARGARET LAURINO Alderman, 39th Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution are presented to the family of Patricia A. Borun as a sign of our honor, gratitude, and respect.

WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Therese Zacharias on January 26, 2017; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and

WHEREAS, born on February 14,1931, Therese was the beloved wife of the late Lourdusamy Zacharias; loving mother of Jerome (Valentina), Leo, Sophie (Bernard) Giess, and Barbara Zacharias; cherished grandmother of Louisa and Veronica Giess and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Therese leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and

WHEREAS, Therese touched the lives of all who knew her through her kindness, generosity ...
