SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The Municipal Code of the City of Chicago is hereby amended by revising Chapter 13 by deleting the language struck through as follows:
4-3-96-285 Space for Refuse Containers!

13-124-335 Openings in guards.
Open guards shall have balusters or ornamental patterns such that a four-inch-diameter sphere cannot pass through any opening up to a holght of 34 inches. From a height of 34 inches to 42 inches above the adjacent walking surfaces, a sphere eight inches in diameter shall not pass.

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance is effective upon passage and publication.
