BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. The City Council finds, that the areas described in Section 2 of this ordinance are adversely -affected by the over-concentration'of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within-ahd near the areas.

 

SECTION 2, Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, is hereby.amended1 by inserting the underscored language as a new subsection 4-60-022 (42.42), as follows:

 

4-60-022       Restrictions on additional licenses.

Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor; for consumption on the premises'within the following areas:
