ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1.  Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by changing all of the RS3 Residential Single-Unit (Detached House) District symbols and indications as shown on Map No. 8-H in the area bounded by

South Archer Avenue; a perpendicular line to South Archer Avenue starting at a point 100 feet southwest of the southwest boundary line fo the public alley that is next northeast of West 37^th Street (as measured along the southeast line of South Archer Avenue) said line ending at a point where it intersects with a perpendicular line to West 37^th Street at a distance of 100 feet west of the west line of the perpendicular public alley to West 37^th Street and is next east of South Archer Avenue (said 100 feet measured along the north line of West 37^th Street); thence a line 53 feet long continuing in a southwesterly direction ending at a point 35 feet north of the north line of West 37^lh Street and 105.6 feet east of the southeast line of South Archer Avenue (as measured along the north line of West 37^th Street); and a southeasterly line 38.5 feet long perpendicular to South Archer Avenue starting at a point 35 feet north of the north line of West 37^th Street and 105.6 feet east of the southeast line of South Archer Avenue (as measured along the north line of West 37^th Street) and ending at a point 104.5 feet northeast of the north line of West 37^th Street (as measured along the southeast line of South Archer Avenue),

to those of a CI-2 Neighborhood Commercial District.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and due publication.
