SUBTITUTE ORDINANCE

 

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. The Chicago Zoning Ordinance, be amended by changing all ofthe C1-2, Neighborhood Commercial District symbols and indications as shown on Map No. 8-G and 8-F in the area bounded by:

 

a line 78 feet south of and parallel to West 35th Place; South Halsted Street; a line 119 feet north of and parallel to West 36th Street; the alley next east of and parallel to South Halsted Street; a line 144 feet south of and parallel to West 36th Street; South Halsted Street; West 36th Street; and the alley next west of and parallel to South Halsted Street

 

to those of a B1-1, Neighborhood Shopping District

 

 

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective after its passage and publication.
