BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO: SECTION 1. That an ordinance passed by the City Council on July 24, 2013, establishing residential permit parking zones in designated areas, be and the same is hereby amended by striking therefrom, the following:

 

North Merrimac Avenue

- 2353 on the east side of the street and

- 2350 on the west side of the street, Residential Permit Parking Zone 1740, at all times."

 

 

And inserting in lieu thereof:

 

ORDERED, That the Director of the Department of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to establish Residential Permit Parking on [the 2300 block of North Merrimac Avenue] (from 2300-2359), All Times, All Days.

 

ORDERED, That the Director of the Department of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to work with the Clerk of the City of Chicago to ensure residents of 6234 West Grand Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60639 and residents of the 2300 block of North Merrimac Avenue are allowed to purchase stickers for Residential Permit Parking Zone 1740.

 

ORDERED, That the Director of the Department of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to ensure that Zone 1740 will remain on the 2300 block of North Merrimac Avenue during the duration of these changes and will continue the sale of stickers for Zone 1740 for residents of the 2300 block of North Merrimac and/or the residents of 6234 West Grand Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60639
