ORDINANCE

 

 

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

Section 1. Pursuant to Section 2-8-040 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, which allows erection of honorary street name designations, the Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Transportation shall take the necessary action for standardization of South Kostner Avenue, between 77th Place and 79th Street as "Honorary Michael "Dyko" Presbitero Way."

 

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon it9^3assage and publication.

RESOLUTION

 

 

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Michael 'Dyko' Presbitero to his eternal reward; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and

i

WHEREAS, Michael "Dyko1 Presbitero, age 60. Beloved husband and best friend of Noreen (nee Gibiin). Loving father of Joan (Matt) Hermanson, Christine and Michael Presbitero. Devoted son of Marge and the late Raymond Presbitero. Cherished brother of Carol (Bill) Young, Raymond (Bobbie) Presbitero, and Laura (Rickie) Shoults. Adored son in law of Mary Gibiin and the late Bill Gibiin. Dear brother in law, uncle, and friend of many. Michael 'Dyko' Presbitero leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this sixteenth day of March, 2016, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michael 'Dyko* Presbitero and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Michael 'Dyko' Presbitero. ^-^
