CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF AN INCREDIBLE MAN MR. ISSAC L. HARPER
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, Mr. Issac L. Harper answered the call of his Heavenly Father, "Come for I have prepared a place specifically for thee, a mansion the size of a small city where your soul can find much rest. On the east side of the mansion displays your favorite sports logos hanging from the ceiling and slightly to the left of that area are photographs of the lives you have touched." As tears fell from Issac's eyes he lifted his right hand and immediately connected with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and
WHEREAS, the scripture states the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, Mr. Issac L. Harper's approach to serving others fits the biblical description like a dream. At a very young age Issac committed his life to the Lord. His servitude in the church was always done without murmur or complaint; and
WHEREAS, he was also known for being a young man full of faith regardless of the trials and tribulations that attempted to distract and consume his mind. Issac was a praying young man and without disinclination he would inspire anyone that stood or sat in his presence; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Issac L. Harper stood on the principles of integrity even when others would challenge him to take a different route; he remained on the path God created for him even when there were times he felt absolutely alone; and
WHEREAS, we will miss Issac's living room debates about politics, education and police matters but more importantly we will miss his robust laugh that would shake up a quiet room and the hugs he shared that oftentimes would comfort a hurting soul; and
WHEREAS, at this moment, we can speak with great confidence, when we say, "Mr. Issac L. Harper's name meant more than an average name." Every letter in his first name stood for something: Issac was an Impressionable young man; Smarter than most of his peers; Stylish in his own way; always Appreciative of his family and friends and...
