Resolution honoring the Heroic efforts of Madison Finneke
WHEREAS: On June 27, 2017 Jennifer Finneke, step-mother to Madison Finneke, went into cardiac arrest.
WHEREAS: Jeff Finneke, Madison's father, immediately contacted 911. Operators advised Jeff to begin CPR.
WHEREAS: Madison Finneke, a lifeguard at the Niles Oasis Pool certified in CPR, rushed to her step-mother's aid quickly relieving Jeff and continuing CPR for 10 minutes until the Chicago Fire Department arrived.
WHEREAS: Through the heroic efforts of Madison Finneke, Jeff Finneke and the Chicago Fire Department, Jennifer Finneke made a full recovery.
BE IT RESOLVED: That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council, gathered together this eleventh day of October, 2017, do hereby congratulate Madison Finneke for her heroic efforts in saving the life of Jennifer Finneke.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Madison Finneke as a token of our appreciation.
