ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Section 9-108-090 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underscored, as follows:

9-108-090 Regulations.

(e) No horse-drawn carriage shall be drawn by a horse when, as determined pursuant to rules adopted by the commissioner, at Northerly Island, Chicago, Illinois: (1) the actual air temperature is 90 80°F or greater, or 4§ 20°F or below; or (2) the wind chill factor is 0 5°F or below.
