ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language and deleting the language struck through, as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

(40.1a) On the north side of Lawrence Avenue, from Rockwell Street to Francisco
Washtenaw Avenue.
(40.1b) On the north side of Lawrence Avenue, from Washtenaw Avenue to Francisco
Avenue.
(40.3(a)) On the east side of Clark Street, from Devon Avenue to Arthur Avenue.
(40.3(b)) On the east side of Clark Street, from Devon Arthur Avenue to Wallen Avenue.
(40.5(a)) On the west side of Lincoln Avenue, from Foster Avenue to Berwyn Balmoral Avenue.
(40.5(aa)) On the west side of Lincoln Avenue, from Berwyn Avenue to Balmoral Avenue.
(40.5(b)) On the east side of Lincoln Avenue, from Foster Avenue to Berwyn Balmoral Avenue.
(40.5(bb)) On the east side of Lincoln Avenue, from Berwyn Avenue to Balmoral Avenue.
(40.6(a)) On the west side of Lincoln Avenue, from Balmoral Avenue to Bryn Mawr Catalpa Avenue.
(40.6(b)) On the west side of Lincoln Avenue, from Catalpa Avenue to Bryn Mawr Avenue.
(40.6(c)) On the east side of Lincoln Avenue, from Balmoral Avenue to Catalpa Avenue.
