Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to JOHN D. & CATHERINE T. MACARTHUR FOUNDATION, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, three (3) Cornice(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 140 S. Dearborn St
Said Cornice(s) at W. Adams measure(s):
One (1) at one hundred twenty-eight point three three (128.33) feet in length, and six point three one (6.31) feet in width for a total of eight hundred nine point seven six (809.76) square feet. Existing cornice is approximately two hundred forty (240) feet above grade level.
Said Cornice(s) at S. Dearborn measure(s):
One (1) at two hundred point one (200.1) feet in length, and six point three one (6.31) feet in width for a total of one thousand two hundred sixty-two point six three (1262.63) square feet. Existing cornice is approximately two hundred forty (240) feet above grade level.
Said Cornice(s) at Public Alley (East-West) measure(s):
One (1) at forty-seven point two five (47.25) feet in length, and six point three one (6.31) feet in width for a total of two hundred ninety-eight point one five (298.15) square feet. Existing cornice is approximately two hundred forty (240) feet above grade level.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago
