RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called John F. Libby to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, John F. Libby, age 68. US Marine Corps veteran. Beloved husband of 39 years to Carol (nee Pencak). Father of Rebecca Doyle, Sarah (Mark) Olson and Bethany Libby. Grandfather of three. Dear brother of Donna (Robert) Czaja, Suzanne (John) Anderer, Adelyne (the late Brian) Parker, Frank (Gail), and Robert (Sheri) Libby. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. John F. Libby leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighth day of November, 2017, hereby express our sorrow on the death of John F. Libby and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
