ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, On October 11, 2017, the City Council of the City of Chicago passed Ordinance SO2017-6224 (the "Ordinance"), which is published at pages 56905 through 56912 in the Journal of the Proceedings of the City Council of such date ("Coun. J. 10-11-17"); and
WHEREAS, The Ordinance amended Chapter 2-45 of the Municipal Code of Chicago by adding a new Section 2-45-117, also known as the "Near North/Near West ARO Pilot Area Ordinance"; and
WHEREAS, A map of the Near North/Near West Pilot Area (the "Pilot Area Map") is published in Coun. J. 10-11 -17, at page 56912; and
WHEREAS, Subsequent to the passage of the Ordinance, it was discovered that the Pilot Area Map erroneously includes a parcel of land on the northern boundary of the Near North/Near West Pilot Area (the "Boundary Line Parcel"); and
WHEREAS, the Boundary Line Parcel is generally described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of Orchard Street and North Avenue thence proceeding east on North Avenue to Larrabee Street thence proceeding south on Larrabee Street to its intersection with the CTA Brown Line, thence proceeding west on the CTA Brown Line to Orchard Street (extended) thence north on Orchard Street (extended) to the place of beginning; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary and proper to correct the Pilot Area Map to exclude the Boundary Line Parcel; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The Pilot Area Map published in Coun. J. 10-11 -17, at page 56912, is hereby replaced by the map attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and shall be deemed to apply retroactively to the effective date of the Ordinance.
