WEIGHT LIMITATIONS

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, Section 030 of the Municipal

Code of Chicago, the maximum weight permitted to be carried by any truck or

commercial vehicle upon the following public ways between the limits indicated

(except for the purpose of delivering or picking up material or merchandise) shall

be as follows:

Your Committee on Traffic Control and Safety, to which were referred (June 30, September 8, October 6, 2010) proposed ordinances to establish the allowable weight limit for trucks and commercial vehicles on portions of designated streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance submitted herewith.

This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the committee present, with no dissenting votes.
