BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:



SECTION 1. The City Comptroller of the City of Chicago is directed to install parking meters at the following locations:

• East 26th Street, south side of the street, from South Wabash Avenue to
South Michigan Avenue.

9-64-205 Parking meter rates

Notwithstanding any prior ordinance establishing a different rate, the rates for parking in a parking meter zone or space or city-owned lot compromised of parking meters that are controlled by the Department of Finance or subject to any concession agreement approved by the city council for operation, maintenance, improvement, installation and removal of, and collection of fees from, certain designated meters, shall be as follows:
Within any area where a parking meter operates between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M, the rate shall be $2.00 per hour, with a three (3) hour period of stay.
Within any area where a parking meter operates between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M, the period of stay shall be three (3) hours.


9-64-206 Parking meters - Hours of operation.
Notwithstanding any prior ordinance establishing different hours of operation, the hours of operation for a parking meter shall be as follows:

(a) The parking meters on the following streets shall operate From 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday, within the area on East 26th street, bounded on the West by South Wabash Avenue and on the east by South Michigan.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
