BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Landlord, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a Lease with The Mothers Against Senseless Killings Foundation, as Tenant, for use of the property located at 7504'South Stewart Avenue^as a community gathering space; such Lease to be approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the following form:

THIS LEASE (the "Lease") is made and entered into this day of
, 2018 by and between, the CITY OF CHICAGO, an Illinois municipal
corporation and home rule unit of government, acting by and through its Department of Fleet and Facility Management, and having its principal offices at 121 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60602, (herein referred to as "City" or "Landlord"), and MOTHERS AGAINST SENSELESS KILLINGS FOUNDATION, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, having its principal office at 5044 South Michigan Avenue, unit #1, Chicago, IL 60615 (hereinafter referred to as "Tenant").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Landlord is the owner of the real property located at 7504 South Stewart Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60615, consisting of 4,389 square feet of vacant land as depicted on Exhibit A attached hereto (PIN 20-28-306-017, the "Premises"); and
