ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO;
SECTION 1. Section 4-156-090 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by adding the underscored text, and deleting the struck-through text, as follows:
4-156-090 Raffles - Prizes - Fees.
The maximum cash prize awarded in any raffle shall be $100,000.00 $500,000.00: the maximum retail value of a non-cash prize awarded in any raffle shall be $100,000.00. The aggregate value of all prizes awarded in any raffle shall not exceed $200,000.00 $1.000.000.00. The maximum fee for any chance shall be $500.00; all such fees shall be paid in currency, or by check or credit card.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage.
