City Council May 23, 2018

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His Infinite wisdom has called Jack F. Pivac, to his eternal award; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th ward; and

WHEREAS, Jack F. Pivac was the much-adored son of Jane (nee Scopacasa) and the late Peter Pivac. Loving nephew of Theresa Scopacasa, and the late Vincent (Sara) Scopacasa; and

WHEREAS, Jack F. Pivac was the dear cousin of Toni (Mike) Thryelius, Frank (Colleen) Scopacasa, and James (Debbie) Scopacasa. Devoted friend to many; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Jack F. Pivac to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this 23^rd day of May, 2018, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Jack F. Pivac and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Jack F. Pivac. <=
