RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Felipe P. Reyes to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Felipe P. Reyes was the beloved husband of Carmen (nee Montelongo); much-adored father of Maria Rosales, Felipe (Lynn), Carmen, Rafael (Denise) and Yoli, cherished grandfather of Allie, Joseph, Diego, Maeve and Auggie; dear brother of Maria (late Angel) Guzman, Donaciano (Rosario), Carmen (Juan) Muniz, Rodolfo (late Teresa), Guillermo (Carolina), the late Venancio (Ramona and the late Irene), late Ventura (late Socorro), late Sara (late Hipolito) and the late Alfredo (Carmen); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to many;

WHEREAS, The kindness, empathy, humor, and hospitality of Felipe P. Reyes enhanced the lives of all fortunate enough to know him; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here the 23^rd day of May, 2018, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Felipe P. Reyes and extend to his family, and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy by presented to the fami^of
