JOURNAL CORRECTION FOR October 31, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETING


November 13, 2018



Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. The substitute ordinance (SO2018-5032) regarding the establishment of the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Area and Program passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago on October 31, 2018 and printed in the Journal of the Proceedings of the City Council of the City of Chicago, pages 86559 through 86593, is hereby corrected by striking: "page 86592" appearing on the 2nd line of printed text from the bottom of page 86575 and inserting in lieu thereof: "page 86593".

Additional Quality Assurance and Antifraud
Quality assurance protocols serve to prevent improper or low-quality installation or modification of Energy Projects and protect against fraud and abuse of the Program. The Program will institute quality assurance protocols administered by the Program Administrator and overseen by DPD. Quality assurance protocols and procedures are subject to review and adjustment from lime to time by the Commissioner of DPD based on applicable City, State and federal standards. Details on the current quality assurance protocols and procedures are outlined in the Guidebook. Despite the presence of these protocols and procedures, responsibility for the successful operation of an Energy Project is that of the property owner and its registered professionals. None of the City, the Program Administrator, any issuer of bonds, capital provider, underwriter or private placement agent, trustee, servicer or any of their respective directors, managers, officers, employees, advisors, agents shall have any liability ...
