Honoring Pastor Timothy J. Williams

WHEREAS, Pastor Timothy J. Williams will be celebrating his 20^th year in ministry at Greater Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, This esteemed body has been notified of this auspicious occasion by the Honorable Emma Mitts, Alderman ofthe 37^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Timothy J. Williams began preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in December, 1998; and

WHEREAS, Greater Sweet Home MB Church located at 3245 W. Chicago Avenue, membership continues to increase at the current location in the West Humboldt Park Community; and

WHEREAS, Greater Sweet Home MB Church is a source of spiritual strength to its members under the leadership of Pastor Timothy J. Williams; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Timothy J. Williams is celebrating his 20^th year Ministerial Anniversary on December 12, 2018; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twelfth day of December, 2018, do hereby express our congratulations to Pastor Timothy J. Williams on his Anniversary.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Pastor Timothy J. Williams as a token of our esteem, gratitude and respect.
