Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to issue sign permits to Elston Development I LLC f.b.o. Image Media Advertising Incorporated, for the erection of two freestanding, double-sided, static off-premise signs at 2100 N. Elston Avenue and 2160 N. Elston Avenue, each with dimensions of 20 feet in height by 60 feet in width, totaling 1200 square feet per side with sign faces that are within 30 degrees of parallel, and at a height of 110 feet above grade. The Building Commissioner's issuance of the foregoing permits is conditioned on the applicant's compliance with Chicago's Building Code, except for the provisions excluded in Section 5 below.

SECTION 2. The Commissioner of Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to issue a sign permit to Andrew Newman f.b.o. 365 Outdoor LLC for the erection of a static wall sign at 1214 N. Damen Avenue, with dimensions of 40 feet in height by 20 feet in width, totaling 800 square feet.

SECTION 3. The Commissioner of Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to issue a sign permit to 1537 N. Damen LLC f.b.o. 365 Outdoor LLC for the erection of a static wall sign at 1537 N. Damen Avenue, with dimensions of 34 feet in height by 17 feet in width, totaling 578 square feet. The Building Commissioner's issuance of the foregoing permit related to 1537 N. Damen Avenue is conditioned on the applicant's compliance with the requirements of the Commission on Chicago Landmarks and the approval ofthe permit by the Commission's Permit Review Committee.

SECTION 4. The Commissioner of Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to issue a sign permit to 1418-20 N. Milwaukee Enterprises, LLC f.b.o. Project Outdoor LLC for the erection of a static wall sign at 1418 N. Milwaukee Avenue, with dimensions of 24 feet in height by 18 feet in width, totaling 432 square feet. The Building Commissioner's issuance ofthe foregoing permit related to 1418 N. Milwaukee Avenue is conditioned on the applicant's compliance with the requirements of the Commission on Chicago Landmarks and the approval of the permit by the Commission's Permit Review Committee.

SECTION 5. A sign erected and maintained pursuant to the terms of this ordinance and the sign permits authorized by this ordinance shall not be deemed in violation of the otherwise applicable zoning provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago at the relevant locations or with MCC § 13-20-650(a), § 13-20-660, § 13-20-680 and § 13-96-070(a).

SECTION 6. To the extent that any ordinance, resolution, rule, order or provision of the Municipal Code of Chicago, or any portion thereof, is in conflict with any provision of this ordinance, the provisions of this ordinance shall control.

SECTION 7. The permit authorizations in this ordinance: (1) are granted solely to terminate litigation associated with the signs at issue and the risk, uncertainty and cost associated therewith, (2) are premised upon the legislative and procedural history of only the particular signs at issue, and (3) have no precedential effect whatsoever for future interpretations of the Municipal Code of Chicago.

SECTION 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and due publication.
