Memorial Resolution for Robert Moore
WHEREAS, In his infinite wisdom, Almighty God has granted eternal peace to Robert Moore on December 20, 2018; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Anthony Beale, Alderman of the 9lh Ward; and
WHEREAS, Robert I. Moore was born on October 1, 1987 to loving parents, Walter Moore Sr. and Robin Moore of Chicago, Illinois. He was the youngest son of three children. Robert loved his family dearly, and he and his brothers shared an unbreakable bond. Through the years, Robert continually expressed his appreciation for the support his parents gave him throughout all of his entrepreneurial endeavors; and
WHEREAS, Robert, lovingly know to all as Bobbie, was named for both of his grandfathers and had both of their personalities. His father's, father, Isaiah Moore was a man of charisma and magnetism and his mother's father, Robert Scott is a man of wisdom and charity. Robert loved his grandmother Carol Scott (Grandma Touhy). He could always get anything from her with his charming smile, and she called him her Booboo; and
WHEREAS, Robert was christened and raised in Monument of Faith Church until the age of six. He later attended Emmanuel Temple Evangelist Church where he professed Christ as his Savior and became active in the youth ministry. Robert performed in plays, sang in the choir and kept the grounds clean with his brothers and father; and
WHEREAS, He loved sports; playing basketball, baseball and football in elementary school and through college; he also played Arena Football in Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Robert received his High School Diploma at Morgan Park High School and also attended Tennessee State University; and
WHEREAS, He attended the IBEW trade school in Arizona and always said he would become a power linemen like his dad. Robert attended Dawson Skill Center where he learned the overhead lineman skills; and
