ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Section 2-8-041 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by adding the language underscored as follows:

2-8-041 Compensation for aldermen.

No other City of Chicago salary shall be allowed any alderman except as herein provided. Nor shall anv alderman engage in. or receive compensation for, work or employment other than for the Citv of Chicago.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage and publication. /\
