RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Jeanette Powers, has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Jeannette Powers nee Keller, Beloved wife of Guadalupe Mendoza and late Donald J. Powers; loving mother of the late Michelle (Rosario) Veraldi, and the late Donald (Christina) Powers; cherished grandmother of Donald (Betty), Michael, Ashley, James, Powers and Gina Veraldi; adored great-grandmother of Arya Powers; dear sister of Barbra (Late Abraham) Soria; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Jeanette Powers to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this thirteen of March 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Jeannette Powers and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jeanette Powers.
