ORDINANCE

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

 

SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Section 2 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.

 

 

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (35.22), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of November 26, 2013 at page 68769, with the following underscored text:

4-60-023 (35.22)      On the southwest side of North Elston Avenue, from North Kedzie

Avenue to North Christiana Avenue, and on both sides of North Elston Avenue, from North Christiana Avenue to West Grace Street.

 

 

 

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
