WHEREAS, Vlado Misetic has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Vlado Misetic, Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Menig); beloved son of the late Luka and Iva Misetic; dear brother of Ivan (Iva), Stipan, Frano (the late Marija), and the late Branimir (Zora); fond uncle of Luka (Eleni), Ana, Steve (Regina), and many in Croatia; and
WHEREAS, Vlado Misetic was an Agent for Janitor's Union Local #1 and SEIU, and radio host for Radio Free Croatia and member of many Croatian Clubs; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Vlado Misetic serve as an example to all; who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends, and admirers; now, therefore
WHEREAS BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this tenth of April 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Vlado Misetic and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution!^
