WHEREAS, Celia Moy Cheung has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Celia Moy Cheung; beloved wife of the late George Cheung; loving mother of Michael (Susan) Cheung, Monica (Richard) Stevens and Martin (Tina) Cheung; cherished grandmother of Lauren and Rachel Cheung, Sean Stevens and Thomas Cheung; devoted daughter of the late Paul and Lillian Moy; dear sister of Pauline (late Frank) Luke, Alice (late Gordon) Gee, late Mary (late Gene) Yee, late Albertine (late William) Gin, late Annette (late Larry) Leong Hong, late Betty (late Charles) Wong, late Robert (late Emma) Moy, late Elinor (late Peter) Fung, late Joan (late Richard) Rowland and late Jean (late Fred) Hong; fond aunt of many; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Celia Moy Cheung to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this tenth of April 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Celia Moy Cheung and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and I
