ORDINANCE

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the area described in Section 2 of this ordinance is adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the area.

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (42.42), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of April 18, 2018 at page 76370, with the following underscored text:

4-60-023 (42.42) On the south side of Huron Street, from Franklin Street to Wells Street: and on the west side of Wells Street, from Huron Street to Erie Street.

 

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
