RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called Kathryn Shaheen to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Shaheen (nee Glatz), Age 51. Beloved mother of Helena, Jenna, and Elisa Shaheen. Adored daughter of Patricia (nee DeVereaux) Glatz and the late John Glatz. Cherished sister of Lisa Glatz and Tracy (Jeff) Ebert. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews and devoted friend; and

WHERAS, Kathryn Shaheen leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-ninth day of May, 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Kathryn Shaheen and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Kathryn Shaheen.
