BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


SECTION 1: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Landlord, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a Lease with Music Box Foundation, as Tenant, for use of the property located at 6843 South Harper Avenue as a center for music education and programming; such Lease to be approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the following form:

THIS LEASE (the "Lease") is made and entered into this day of
, 2019 (the "Commencement Date") by and between, the CITY OF
CHICAGO, an Illinois municipal corporation and home rule unit of government, acting by and through its Department of Fleet and Facility Management, and having its principal offices at 121 N. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60602, (herein referred to as "City" or "Landlord"), and MUSIC BOX FOUNDATION, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, having its principal office at 7018 South Emerald Avenue, Chicago, IL 60621 (hereinafter referred to as "Tenant").

RECITALS

WHEREAS, Landlord is the owner of the real property located at 6843 South Harper Avenue, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, 60637, and legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof (the "Premises"); and
