OR D I N A N C E

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Chapter 4-244-140 (b) ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by adding the language as underscored as follows:

(b)     Peddling is prohibited as described in the following indicated areas:

(32)    Peddling is prohibited at anv time within the following designated district:

Beginning at the intersection of South State Street and East 11^th Street: thence east on East 11^th Street to South Michigan Avenue; thence south on South Michigan Avenue to East Roosevelt Road; thence east on East Roosevelt Road to South Columbus Drive; thence west on East Roosevelt Road to South Indiana Avenue; thence south on South Indiana Avenue to East 13^th Street: thence west on East 13^th Street to South State Street: thence north on South State Street to West Roosevelt Road; thence west on West Roosevelt Road to South Clark Street; thence east on West Roosevelt Road to South State Street; thence north on South State Street to the place of the beginning.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication.
