ORDINANCE To Establish the Office ofthe Environment

SECTION 1. Section 2-4-055 shall be amended by adding the following text:

(d) The Chief Sustainability Officer shall have the authority to hire additional officers, employers, and contractors according to applicable City hiring laws.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication.
