City Council November 20th, 2019
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Ronald Michael "Ron" DeFrancisco has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Ron honorably served in the United States Navy from February 28th, 1977 to February 27, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Loving father to Anthony (Jennifer) DeFrancisco, Michael (Loretta) DeFrancisco, Nicholas (Amanda) DeFrancisco, Dominic (Bridget) DeFrancisco; Stepfather to Scarlett Martin, beloved grandfather to 12 grandchildren, William, Carter, Zachary, Madelyn, Lilliana, Lucas, Landon, Logan, Jackson, Gerard, Liam, Sophie; Loving brother to Ruth DeFrancisco and Rita Lewis; Proud uncle to numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Ron to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth of November 2019 , do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Ronald Michael DeFrancisco and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Ronald Michael DeFrancisco.
