RESOLUTION CONGRATULTING DONNA HUGHES-CRAWFORD ON HER RETIREMENT

WHEREAS, Donna Hughes-Crawford, is retiring after thirty-seven years of distinguished service to the Social Security Administration; and

WHEREAS, This honorable body has been informed of the wonderful occasion for Donna Hughes-Crawford by the Honorable Emma Mitts, Alderman of the 37th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Donna Hughes-Crawford has been a resident of the 37^th Ward for over twenty-five years and a resident of the West Side all of her life; and

WHEREAS, Donna has been an invaluable asset to the communities she has served, always sharing her knowledge and expertise to deliver services and improve her community; and

WHEREAS, Donna is a woman of great compassion and humbleness; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this twenty-sixth day of November, 2019 do hereby express our deep gratitude to Donna Hughes-Crawford for her services and extend our best wishes for a wonderful retirement; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Donna Hughes-Crawford as a sign of respect.
