RESOLUTION HONORING CHICAGO FIRE DEPARTMENT ENGINE 124, TRUCK 38, AMBULANCE 32, BATALLION 10, SECOND SHIFT
WHEREAS, The Chicago Fire Department Engine 124, Truck 38, Ambulance 32, Battalion 10, Second Shift were among the honorees at the Eighteenth Annual Salute to American Heroes on November 3, 2019, and;
WHEREAS, The men and women of the Chicago Fire Department Engine 124, Truck 38, Ambulance 32, Battalion 10, Second Shift protect us from their base 4426 North Kedzie Avenue, and;
WHEREAS, The motto of the Chicago Fire Department is "We're there when you need us." Since 1914, the members of the Chicago Fire Department Engine 124, Truck 38, Ambulance 32, Battalion 10 have "been there" when the residents of Albany Park and the surrounding communities have found themselves in times of need; and
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this Fifteenth day of January, 2020, do hereby express our congratulations to Chicago Fire Department Engine 124, Truck 38, Ambulance 32, Battalion 10, Second Shift on their well-deserved honor; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Chicago Fire Department Engine 124, Truck 38, Ambulance 32, Battalion 10, Second Shift as a token of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
