WHEREAS, God in his infinite wisdom has called Christopher T. Davis to his eternal rest on February 14, 2020; a helpful, responsible, family oriented and hardworking young man; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Derrick Curtis, Alderman ofthe 18th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Christopher T. Davis was born to the parents of Kelly Ransburg and Christopher Davis; and
WHEREAS, Christopher attended DeVry University where he received both his high school diploma and his associate's degree in applied science in networking systems; and
WHEREAS, Christopher was employed by Jewel/Osco for three years and Securitas for six months; and
WHEREAS, Christopher was deeply loved by his friends and family and was favored amongst cousins; and
WHEREAS, Christopher T. Davis leaves to cherish his memory; his (Mother) Kelly Ransburg, (Father) Christopher Davis, (Sister) Jaliyah Pass, (Aunt) Stacy Ransburg, (Grandmothers) Geraldine Ransburg, Joanne Davis, (God mother) Dara Campbell (God brother) Johnny Michael the third (Tray) and a host of cousins, loved ones and friends; and
"If I go away and prepare a place for you to myself, so that where I am you may be also"

BE IT RESOLVED; That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this eighteenth day of March 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the loss of
Christopher T. Davis and express to his family and friends our deepest sympathy;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Christopher T. Davis as a token of our honor and respect.
