RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God In His infinite wisdom has called Richard W. Jaros to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Richard W. Jaros, age 77, Retired CPD, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 19, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend for 56 wonderful years of Judith (nee Winters). Loving father and hero of Richard Jr. R.Ph. (Ralphaela), Kristopher Detective CPD (Ann CPD), and Todd Sergeant CPD (Kelly). Cherished grandfather of Anastasia, Alexander, William, Genevieve and Jaxon, Loving brother of Rita (the late Ted) Moskal. Fond Brother-in Law of JoAnn Biszewski (the late Walter). Uncie of many and fond friend and life coach to so many others. Proud member of AA and No Cop Outs for over 13 years; and
WHERAS, Richard W. Jaros leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twentieth day of May, 2020, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Richard W. Jaros and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Richard W. Jaros.
