WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Roberto "Tito" Jimenez to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Roberto Jimenez, formerly of El Grullo, Jalisco, Mexico, passed suddenly on May 9, 2020. Loving husband of Aleida; devoted father of Roberto Jr., Yajaira and Yadira; cherished grandfather of Alexia. Dear son of Roberto and the late Alicia; one of twelve siblings. Fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. Roberto was a retired Local 2 Laborer for Meade Construction; and
WHERAS, Roberto Jimenez leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love. He will be truly missed by many; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty day of May, 2020, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Roberto Jimenez and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
