TIME EXTENSION ORDINANCE PUBLIC WAY DEDICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Chicago (the "City Council") by ordinance passed on October 16, 2019, and appearing in the Journal ofthe Proceedings of the City Council for such date on pages 7825 through 7828 (the "2019 Ordinance"), approved a public alley dedication by Montclare Lawndale SLF Corporation, an Illinois corporation ("Developer"); and

WHEREAS the Developer was unable to record the 2019 Ordinance prior to the one hundred eighty (180) day deadline set forth in Section 4 of the 2019 Ordinance, which resulted in the 2019 Ordinance expiring and becoming invalid; and

WHEREAS the City Council now seeks to extend the deadline for the Developer's recording the 2019 Ordinance and associated plat, in order to permit the Developer to successfully complete the alley dedication to the City.


Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Transportation, or her designee, is hereby authorized and directed to approve a dedication of certain property owned by the Developer for use as public way, in the block bounded by W. 19th Street, W. 18th Place, S. Kostner Avenue and S. Kildare Avenue, as legally described below and in the attached plat (Exhibit A, CDOT File: 22-24-19-3885) which, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part ofthis ordinance.

SECTION 2. The dedication of THE WEST 16 FEET OF THE EAST 18.00 FEET ALONG WITH THE NORTH 40.00 FEET OF THE WEST 40.00 FEET OF THE EAST 58.00 FEET OF A TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS: LOTS 13 TO 28 INCLUSIVE IN THE RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 6 TO 12 INCLUSIVE IN W.A. JAMES SUBDIVISION OF LOT 4 (EXCEPT THE WEST 243.54 FEET) IN EXECUTOR'S SUBDIVISION OF LOT 3 IN THE PARTITION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED MAY 19,1910 AS DOCUMENT
