City Council June 17th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Christine Gallo has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 96 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Christine "Tina" Gallo, nee Serritella, beloved wife ofthe late Michael V. Gallo, loving mother of Michael (Charlene), Mario (Linda) and the late Anthony, beloved daughter of Antonio and Antonia Serritella, dear grandmother of Michael, dear sister of the late William, the late Rose, Dolly (and the late Richard) Kozelka, and Anthony. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Christine to her family, members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of June 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Christine Gallo and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Christine Gallo.
