City Council June 17th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Evelyn Kneller has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 84 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Evelyn (Stewart) Kneller, Beloved wife of the late Roger Kneller and the late John Gratchkoff; loving mother of Cindy (Mike) Olson and Sandy (the late Roy) Kneller; cherished grandmother of Eric (Crissy) and Stefan (Melissa) Floyhar, Laurelin (Chad) Posluszny and Roy Jr. (Aubrey), Jeff (Danielle, Hillary) and Korey Kneller (Kaitlin Lang, fiance); proud great grandmother of 9; dearest sister of Betty Swan (the late Joe Berlinski) and the late Robert (the late Lucy) Stewart; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Evelyn will also be missed by her devoted granddogs, Rockey and Ros.; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Evelyn to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this seventeenth of June 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Evelyn Kneller and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Evelyn Kneller.
