RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Richard Allen Gonsowski to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Richard Allen Gonsowski, age 71, of Chicago, IL. Passed away peacefully on Friday June 12, 2020. Beloved husband to Connie Wilson; loving father to Rochelle, Ricky Jr, Allison, Laura and April; cherished Grandpa to Rue, Ryan, and Noah; dear brother to Leo, Kenneth, Pam, and Linda. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Leo Gonsowski, Sr. and Hazel Bolda (nee Sorenson); siblings Charles (Tommy), Virginia (Ginny), and Dolores (Dee Dee). Richards memory will be cherished by many other family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Richard Allen Gonsowski leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-second day of July, 2020, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Richard Allen Gonsowski and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Richard Allen Gonsowski.
