ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO

SECTION 1. Chapter 2-92 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language stricken through and by inserting the language underscored, as follows:

9-64-430 Award goal - Established.

The chief procurement officer shall establish a goal of awarding not less than 2S 60 percent of the annual dollar value of all contracts to qualified M.B.E.sand five ten percent of the annual dollar value of all contracts to qualified W.B.E.'s. This provision ,applies .to all contracts with the Citv of Chicago in excess of $10,000 including but not limited to professional service contracts.

(Omitted text is unaffected by this ordinance)

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect three months after passage and publication
