SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE


WHEREAS, the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the year 2020 ("2020 Appropriation Ordinance") of the City of Chicago (the "City") contains estimates of revenues receivable as grants from agencies ofthe state and federal governments and public and private agencies; and

WHEREAS, the City through its Office of the Mayor ("Mayor's Office") has been awarded private grant funds in the amount of $124,000 by One Chicago Fund ("OCF") which shall be used for the My Chi. My Future Program; and
WHEREAS, the City through its Mayor's Office has been awarded private carryover grant funds in the amount of $254,000 by Humanities United for the Pathways to Freedom Program and now desires to transfer $5,000 of such funds to the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events for the Pathways to Freedom Program; and

WHEREAS, the City through its Mayor's Office has been awarded private grant funds in the amount of $50,000 by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation which shall be used for the Police Reform (Police Accountability Task Force) Program; and

WHEREAS, the City through its Mayor's Office has been awarded additional private grant funds in the amount of $7,000 by the OCF which shall be used forthe Youth Commission Program; and
WHEREAS, the City through its Department of Public Health ('Health") has been awarded federal grant funds in the amount of $159,000 and federal carryover grant funds in the amount of $8,000 by the United States Department of Health and Human Services ("USDHHS") which shall be used for the Adult Viral Hepatitis Program; and

WHEREAS, the City through Health has been awarded federal grant funds in the amount of $574,000 by the USDHHS and state grant funds in the amount of $300,000 by the Illinois Department of Human Services which shall be used for the Chicago Family Connects Program; and
