BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1.                     Because an in-person . meeting .Is. not practical or prudent due.to

COVID-19, the next.regular meeting of the City Council, in accordance with applicable law_; shall be conducted by videpconferencex)n Wednesday,-September^, 2026,,peginning at 10:00.;A.M,, and shall provide for remote participation and remote viewing by members of the public. If prior to then, the Commissioner of Health issues a written determination that the City Council can safely proceed with an in-person meeting, the meeting will be held at a iocation to be determined that can safely accommodate a City Council meeting. Any such-written determirBtidniwill be posted bathe City Clerk's website, along with an amended meeting agenda, which will include;^ fixed.locatipn,;:by 10:00'A.-M. pmFriday, September 4, 2020.
