RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Robert G Fitzpatrick has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe llth Ward; and
WHEREAS, Robert G Fitzpatrick, Devoted husband ofthe late Therese "Sis" (nee Stearms); loving father of Mary Therese, Robert Jr. retired C.F.D, Michael C.F.D (Susan), Kelly (Mario) Pardo and Judy (Julio) Munoz; beloved son of the late George arid Margaret Fitzpatrick; fond grandfather of Ashley (Ryan) Kalb, Albert, Kate (Mark) Heisner, Jamie (Jake) Rebus, Arley, Mario Jr., Michael Anthony, Jake, Michael Jr., Joseph, Colin and Emily; great grandfather of Stella, Giada, Maximus and Jenelle; dear brother ofthe late Margaret, George (Millie), Edgar( Mary Jane), Dave (Mary Lou) and Pat (Joan); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Robert was a retired Lieutenant of the C.F.D.; a Veteran of The Korean War and proud parishioner of Nativity Parish ; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Robert to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty second of July 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Robert G Fitzpatrick and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
