City Council October 7th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Karen Vaccaro has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 58 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Karen Vaccaro, nee Radaszewski, Loving mother of Jasper (Christina) and Melissa (Charlie) Guarino; cherished grandmother of Enza, Gia, Sofia and Lilyanna; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and the late Rose Radaszewski; dear sister of Theresa, Debra, Joseph, Denise, Jim (Julie) and Frank (Cathy); long time friend of Carl Vaccaro; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Karen to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty second of July 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Karen Vaccaro and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Karen Vaccaro.
